It’s absurd that we don’t have a permanent base on the moon yet. I was told in the 1970s we would have one by 1999, and that didn’t seem unreasonable given we were sending people there regularly.

Anyone betting on Li-Ion prices going up, or even staying flat.... it's likely going to be a blood bath - both for the big incumbents, and new entrants with a better mousetrap who aren't at scale.

If you think that data centers are going to be flexible grid resources in the long term - I would argue that data and processing cycles are more valuable than energy - the amount to pay them to 'turn down' is only going up - I would not count on this resource in the long term.
