Busy days pouring in as the calendar flips to July. Day 1 of the Father-Son Doubles Tournament as well as Tetrino out on greens, tees, and fairways this morning

Another 4.5” yesterday putting us over 10” in the past 3 weeks. The 10 Mile River flooded into multiple fairways throughout the course. Venting greens, pumping bunkers, cart path wash outs and edging heads on the docket for our closed Monday morning maintenance

Over the winter we began to renovate our worn down short game area. The green was doubled in size and elevated, trees and roots cleared, bunkers redone, irrigation and drainage installed along with a new 6000 sq ft chipping approach. Happy opening day to our membership!

Final day of the New England PGA Championship. I’m incredibly proud of our team for the progress that’s been made the last 2 seasons and for having this place in peak shape for this week. 8 more days to hold this for the Member-Guest!

Without fail: 3 days before the member-guest the 10 mile river has flooded 5 holes on the course and is continuing to rise at 3” per hour. Can’t say I’ve ever seen anything like this

Random golf course spinner on the archives today. Landed on Long Vue Club. A Pittsburgh area gem high above the Allegheny River.

Nothing like a 10 PM call that there’s a high speed police chase happening on your golf course. Incredibly fortunate to only come out with some imprinting on greens and some smaller damaged rough areas though.

First fraise mow that these grass courts have ever seen followed by a slit seed in two directions, core, drag, blow, fert, heavy topdressing and soak. Can’t wait to see these come back over the next few weeks
