#onthisday in 1944 Wing Commander Guy Gibson, VC, DSO & Bar, DFC & Bar died along with Squadron Leader Jim Warwick when their Mosquito crashed in Steenbergen, Netherlands. It was Guy Gibson who led No. 617 Squadron on the Dambusters Raid in May 1943. #ww2 #worldwar2
