Class 11 St John Vianney School had a fun packed day with Greater Manchester Outdoor Learning doing pond dipping, litter picking and several team building activities. Great way to end the week!
We had a spectacular day at Chester Zoo looking at all the different animals. Class 11 particularly enjoyed observing the monkeys and watching the penguins swim. A great day 😃 St John Vianney School
In preparation for Adulthood, we have been working on home skills such as ironing in Class 11. For their first time, they have done a superb job, we might just bring our ironing to school to keep them busy😂 St John Vianney School

The last week of last half term Class 11 did superbly well hiking up Mam Tor with Greater Manchester Outdoor Learning . It was a shame that we didn't get to enjoy the view with all the fog, but nevertheless it was a great day St John Vianney School

We had a fantastic time at the Fire & Rescue service Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service in Bury. We learnt all about fire safety and what to do in case of emergencies. Very informative for our learners! St John Vianney School
We got the chance to hear 999 and learn more about the control centre. We even had a race to see who could get dressed the quickest! Did you know the average time to get ready and set off in a fire truck is 58 seconds?! Great hands on experience Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service St John Vianney School

Class 11 are aiming to cycle 215 miles collectively (roughly the distance between St John Vianney School and Westminster Abbey ) ! This is part of our Lenten challenge to raise money for CAFOD . This past week we have managed to complete 104 miles! How amazing is that?! 😍
