Very cool bird thing happening at UNC right now: 1000+ Chimney Swifts roosting in the school's most famous tree. This used to be normal, before the widespread clearing of eastern old growth forests centuries ago. But now is exceedingly rare. nc.audubon.org/news/famous-nc…
