Being Ace : An Anthology of Queer, Trans, Femme, and Disabled Stories of Asexual Love and Connection by Madeline Dyer and Ace Voices: What it Means to Be Asexual, Aromantic, Demi or Grey-Ace by Eris Young are two new books that have joined our LGBTQIA History Month display.

On this last day in October, the next book display goes up. Beginning tomorrow, November is American Indian and Alaskan Native Heritage Month. We acknowledge and celebrate the voices and perspectives of individuals and these communities.

Upcoming holiday hours in the library

Woohoo! The library hours for finals week and the upcoming holiday and winter break.

We had to make some updates to our library hours.

Highlighting diverse films for our January display--even better, you can watch them while you enjoy the great warm indoors.

The library is indeed open on Martin Luther King Jr. Day from 5 to 9PM.

February is Black History Month. Come check out the display, and check out a book to learn more about the history and stories of individuals such as Martin Luther King Jr., Maya Angelou, Malcolm X, and the women featured in the book, "Hidden Figures."

Books Are My Love Language-February 14 at 3:00PM in the Rare Book Room Please bring a book to read and discuss with others. Snacks and beverages will be provided. The library will have books available to read and check out. Open to all students, faculty and staff

Thanks to a gracious donor, the library has received a copy of Peter Lik's Equation of Time. This is a rather large book filled with 206 photographs spanning Lik's years as a photographer. It is now on display in the Rare Book Room, so please come by and take a look.

March is almost upon us, which means new book display. It's Women's History Month. We celebrate, honor and educate ourselves about the impact that women have had on history by featuring women authors, films with women, and books detailing various historical events.

Spring Break Library Hours

Chrissy Bartels, Assistant Professor of Communication, made use of OER mini-grant funding, provided through the library, to create diverse support materials for videos for a couple of her COMM classes. The mini-grant has supported hands-on learning experiences for students.

April is Arab American Heritage Month. Featuring titles such as The Beauty of Your Face by Sahar Mustafah, We Too Sing America by Deepa Iyer, and I Was Their American Dream by Malaka Gharib, please check out these reads and more.

Easter Break Library Hours

We're already mostly through finals week. Just as an update: the library hours will change just a bit as the week winds down.

Let's all think ahead to summer for a moment. The library will begin its summer hours on Monday May 12.
