This is Capt. Francois Marshal of the Free French Air Force and the pilot of a Handley Page Halifax bomber in WW 2. He (and his pet 'Bunny') completed a staggering 58 bombing sorties together. It seems more than just a 'rabbit's foot' was required to survive.
