With the Irish concrete levy to kick in making it more expensive to build homes in the midst of an aweful housing crisis, I can't help but wonder how the Attorney General & Darragh O'Brien are getting on with the penalties for the ones who caused the detective concrete scandal?

This is very important watching to everyone following Ireland's defective concrete block crisis. Well done Rita O'Reilly RTÉ Prime Time for continuing to keep a critical eye on this important societal issue for 1000s of families

Important visit to the Maskimo quarry today with their geologist & University Laval to see up close the pyrrhotite bearing aggregate that destroyed 8000 homes in Trois Riviere. This quarry encourages science collaboration to understand what happened. Very different from back home

#ConcreteInLife2023 A well deserved winner! And there are many thousands more potential entries in Mayo, Donegal, Sligo, Clare etc etc. Darragh O'Brien Eamon Ryan Eoin Ó Broin

Quarry still not prosecuted by government? Why Darragh O'Brien . Billions in taxpayers money and this ‘Family’ run quarry in buncrana never held to account by government???? Why? How much proof do you need. Why not recoup money through forensic accountants?Leo Varadkar Matt Cooper

So the British Government is looking for acountability from an Irish building materials company re a construction disaster in England. And the Irish government is doing feck all about Irish quarries that made defective materials used here in Ireland. Paddy Diver

It shouldn't have come to this, our government should have understood the gross injustice inflicted on its citizens who lost everything because defective concrete was allowed onto the Irish market. The EU have spoken & Darragh O'Brien needs to act on this report to fix this mess
