Last week as a member of The Royal Company of Merchants of The City of Edinburgh, I attended the Kirking of the Master at St Giles. With my Dad being in the procession, it's the first time my brother and I have had to stand because our father has entered the room!

Last week I visited St Andrews to pick up my copy of this incredible book about a very famous golfing family to which I contributed some research. I'm proud to be the 3x Great-Grandaughter of Andrew Strath who was one of the earliest golf professionals and winner of The Open.

Busy time recently as a volunteer with The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award. Out with a bronze group training (I gave out all my blister plasters!), Scotland leaders training day in Dunfermline and now prepping for a walking qualification weekend so I can lead Bronze and Silver expeditions through Girlguiding

Somehow survived Girlguiding Scotland's walking course despite this incredibly helpful signage in the Pentlands. Also, no blisters! I'll take that as a win 🏆

Very proud of the whole Alzheimer's Society Legacy team for winning this award. Rebuilding our free will service has been a labour of love to ensure we can provide the best possible service for people affected by dementia. #LegacyGivingAwards

Good day in the hills at the weekend bagging Ben Lawers and Beinn Ghlas as part of my HML qualification. An OK start to my 2024 goal of 10 munros. (Don't tell anyone I've already done these two half a dozen times 🙄)

It's such a privilege to manage these wonderful people! We spent a day working together in London on delivering powerful and inspiring legacy asks for our busy event season. There were laughs & tears as we told incredible stories of our supporters & people affected by dementia.

Last weekend was a super busy volunteering weekend and the sun shone for us! Out on Saturday supporting the 2466 (Loanhead) Sqn Air Cadets at their parade and gala day, and Sunday spent in the Pentland Hills supervising two The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Bronze qualifying expeditions. #serialvolunteer
