Legal services workers with ALAA - UAW 2325 in UAW Region 9A rallied in NYC to demand the funding, staffing, and support necessary to continue fighting for justice for low-income New Yorkers. Leaders, including Zohran Kwame Mamdani, NY AG Tish James, @ClaireForQueens joined in support.

ALAA legal workers deserve to live with dignity and security in this city. Today, 400 of them are on strike. 1,600 more could join them on Friday if management won't come to the table with a fair offer. I’ll be on the picket line with them until management does what’s right.

Out at Brooklyn Housing Court today with striking ALAA - UAW 2325 workers on the picket line. These legal workers do life-saving work. They deserve to be paid dignified salaries and to have more manageable case loads. We'll stand in solidarity with them until they win a fair contract.
