I've 2 books by superb thinker Sir Professor Roger Penrose & recently wrote a general thread about his theories (in screenshot & link) refering to those 2 books. He is my favourite scientist & his theories are a good balance of established mathematicalphysics science & creativity

I didn't see the #AuroraBorealis Aurora Borealis #NorthernLights last night but it was cloudy & I only checked through a window. The Sun still seems active with #Sunspot systems occasionally facing Earth, so there could be more space weather resulting in a chance to see it again.

I've yet to find a day with this #sunlight effect (refer to link quoted & photo here from the #Apollo11 event where I say I was incubating in my Mum's tummy until later in yr 1969 when I was born!) & must've been incredible to see this on TV. Next month will have same weather...

I think of my time here as way of volunteering to contribute to society. From 1 angle I get why ppl wouldn't do it as an amateur for free & not get paid but I also think doing something for free puts motive on intrinsic value from the activity.I'm also learning & sharing my ideas

I don't just write it down but research it then science write it - often as threads here & now Bluesky. This way, I'm contributing my thoughts, ideas & theories & learning at the same time. I don't post rubbish.

What a great example of a young person who's a superb asset to the company. Booths is my favourite shop & my local is housed in a clean new building that has some wonderful (I think pine) trees outside its unique entrance. The staff are friendly & helpful & goods are top quality.

Peach Moon Probably a result of a mixture of Saharan Sand, the Canadian wildfires & Mount Etna's volcanic eruption creating an unusual dusty atmosphere that's arrived in Europe. My old mobile phone doesn't do it justice though. The true colour & effect is Lunartastic! Go look!
