What happened to "no European football means we'll be back our best"? I thought "there were no players out there that improve us" in the summer? These lot are playing like they don't want to be here anymore, absolutely woeful today
I told you all that signing no one in the summer would have had massive consequences and we're seeing it now, team look totally defeated and out of ideas, very very worrying
Anyone else feel like Howe's ran out of steam here? Poor for a very long time and he hasn't got injuries or European football to blame, going to take some doing to turn this round
There's way deeper problems at the club than players just playing bad btw, Bruno been bang average all season, Joelinton shite, Gordon was a total disgrace and looks like he's downed tools, Tonali getting hardly any minutes when he's been our best midfielder, really worrying
Think a lot of people need to remember NUFC existed long before Howe and will exist long after him, people get so defensive over anyone daring to ask questions, it's very weird, things aren't working and it's done to him and him alone (until Jan) to fix it
One things for sure, there's absolutely no way an elite manager keeps Tonali on the bench each week, it feels like Howes trying to be too fussy, like not playing his best 11 on purpose, no idea if it's to send a message or what something is just very weird about the whole thing
Think a lot of people are overlooking just how little service we are giving Isak as well, I haven't seen anyone play him in behind (except Murphy against Spurs) all season, got one of the best strikers in the league and we're not even trying to play to his strengths at all
We were getting overran and outworked by Southampton btw, we are a long long way off being a possession dominating team, Tonali and Bruno the only players who are any good under pressure
Think some have already pointed it out but Villa are absolutely having our pants down btw, better recruitment, better tactics, getting better all the time whilst we've stagnated and are getting worse, on and off the pitch
