We are saddened by the passing of trailblazing astronaut Mary Cleave at age 76. Cleave was NASA's CapCom – the voice talking to astronauts in orbit – when Sally Ride became the 1st American woman in space in 1983. Cleave later flew on 2 shuttle missions: cnn.it/480z3CI
