The only 2 people I’ve had to cut off for my “well being” died a few months after I did it. I shouldn’t have done it. I should’ve forgiven & knew they were doing the best they could. Death is permanent. Our problems are not. I’m sad & trying to forgive myself.

all my grief says the same thing: this isn't how it's supposed to be. this isn't how it's supposed to be. and the world laughs, holds my hope by the throat and says 'but this is how it is.'

i have this strange feeling that i'm not myself anymore. it's hard to put into words, but i guess it's like i was fast asleep and someone came, disassembled me and hurriedly put me back together again. that sort of feeling.
