K9 Officer Drew Snyder spent three days at the North American Police Work Dog Association’s 2021 Indiana State Workshop. The event was hosted by the Valparaiso Police Department. This Workshop covered all of the phases associated with patrol, including scenario based training.

Our department strives for 100% of our officers to be trained in Crisis Intervention Training (CIT). This year we were able to join Boone County first responders and send four of our officers to the week-long training.

During this #FirePreventionWeek the Frankfort Fire Department reminds all residents to make sure everyone in their home understands the sounds of smoke and carbon monoxide alarms and knows how to respond.
