"LLMs are taking over". And still it wasn't able to produce correct sed query on first try. How come? There's so much data on it. Probably for cases with such dense signal, such sed, it just fails. For me LLM mostly helps, when I have easy and cheap way to verify output

I've been using RustRover, a JetBrains IDE for the past 2 years. It had solid intellisense, many of the errors were fixed by alt+enter. Now JetBrains replaced it with hip "fix with AI" which is: a) slow b) works way worse. Stakeholder are happy, users are suffering. Enterprise in a nutshell.

It is pretty sad, how JetBrains killing itself with trying to catch up with AI-hype, instead of following its own vision. The latest release of RustRover, a JetBrains IDE is one of the worst. They had awesome intellisense, this is what I want in 99% of autocompletion. Now it's just AI-slop.
