The benefits of audio books are numerous! CISD students with qualified print disabilities, like those with dyslexia, are eligible for free audiobooks through Learning Ally and have accounts set up already. Ask your campus dyslexia specialist for more info.

This is a very interesting article about why writing by hand is so beneficial to learning. In dyslexia therapy, when the students learn new letters and sounds, they write the letter or grapheme while saying its name at the same time. neurosciencenews.com/hand-writing-s…
