i’ve realized that some men don’t know how to be the man that you need because they’re still in the process of becoming the man that they need. they’re not even sure of the type of man that they’re trying to become. just that they’re trying to become one.

You might think people only need to heal from bad relationships. but the truth is people are healing from hateful parents, betrayal from friends, sibling feuds, academic problems, stressed in their works. always remind that not everything is about romantic relationships.

Loyalty out values everything

Saying “you got everything you wanted but still unhappy” to someone who lost both parents, a grandmother, was assaulted and has been taunted and called everything but a child of God all in the span of a year is SOOOO tone deaf.

My homie’s mother passed away from cancer last week. He’s 27. The funeral was today and he wasn’t present. Turns out he lost his literal mind and is now at a mental facility. If you think you have it bad just thank God tonight and do your best tomorrow.

Fun lil fact: If you ever buy someone flowers make sure to keep one for yourself so you can know when theirs are dying. Then you’ll know when to get them new ones.
