Hannah Al-Othman There’s more of a constituency link in Ireland with our form of PR than in the UK with FPTP. Because there’s competition within parties, there are no safe seats for individual TDs. It’s exceptionally rare for a TD not to have a pre-existing link with their constituency here.

In 1991, 15% of 25-34 year olds were in private rented accommodation In 2011, it was 44%. In 2016, it had increased to over 50%, I presume that when the 2022 @CSO census is released, this number will be even higher again. #Housing #Polarisation #HousingCrisis

Honest question, why shouldn't Belfast be the capital of a united Ireland, given theres so many successful countries where the capital isnt the biggest or most economically important city (e.g. USA, Germany, Italy)

RIP Aaron Bushnell. You had more courage and bravery than all our politicians and world leaders combined. You will always be remembered for standing up for what is right

After Conor McGregor and Tucker Carlson recorded their interview at freemasons hall, somebody should really overtake him on the conspiratorial far-right, arguing that it proves he's in league with the freemasons/illuminati... Loony twitter work your magic!

A month ago, the "Manufacturers Association of Israel" released an ad calling Israelis to buy Israeli products. Inadvertently, they made the ultimate ad for BDS - making sure everyone who watches it knows: buying Israeli products is supporting genocide.

Hey Grok, on a scale from 1 to 100, what is my political leaning based on my posts and comments? 1 is far left, 100 is far right.

I have never understood the massive economic split in Italy. Why is the North with its various industries one of the wealthiest areas in Europe, but the South so extremely poor? Same country, same language, same laws and taxes. Can someone please explain?
