Hello my name is Gabe Krepps. I chose welding because my great uncle was a welder and he showed me a few things the summer before my freshman year and I thought it was cool. I have gotten a lifetime mentor some very knowledgeable friends and now a skill set.

Some students are learning G.M.A.W (mig) and others are doing overhead S.M.A.W (stick) welding.

a few students went to Sequatchie County high school to help them with there expansion of welding booths and ventilation. We worked right along side them and showed the beginning welding class at the school some tips and tricks for welding and fabrication.

Students learning 3G GMAW

Last day of practice before we go off to a welding competition. What a better way to send kids off then with a shrimp boil!!!

Sequatchie County High school invited us to there competition and it was a great time. Proud of how hard my students worked and we took 1st and 3rd place!

Very excited to have Tyler Sasse as the guest speaker at our 3rd annual AWS Christmas dinner December 19th. Multiple schools and industry personnel will be attending as well as giving out awards! Western Welding Academy

We hosted our first welding competition yesterday and our very own Angel Gomez took 1st place and received a $8,000 scholarship to Tulsa Welding School & Technology Center . More pictures and video of this competition soon to come but for now let’s congratulate Angel!

Couldn’t be more proud of my amazing students! Yesterday, I had the privilege of taking 5 of my talented students to a welding competition, and they absolutely crushed it! 🏆 We took 1st and 2nd place, which is an incredible accomplishment!
