Announcing the cast for our spring production of Alice in Wonderland. It will be a kids show and ALL are welcome. Save the dates April 4-8. Kids will be able to get pictures and autographs with their favorite characters after each show.

Spent the day yesterday with Aniyah Purifory and Joey Bahn at the Tennessee All State Theater Conference. Both were recognized as All East Winners for monologues they preformed at THESCON. A full day of hands on theater experience and performance.

Start making plans now to see the CHS spring production of Alice in Wonderland. All of your favorite characters will be on hand including Alice, The Cheshire Cat, The White Rabbit, The Mad Hatter, Humpty Dumpty, The Tweedles, The Queen and King of Hearts and many more.

Cleveland High School Thespian Troupe 505 recently held its semi-annual inductions at the Betsy Vines Memorial Theater. Eight new Inductees, 2 Honor Thespians and 2 National Honor Thespians were recognized. Congratulations to all the new inductees and the Honor Thespians!

Had a fantastic day today on the river with a few of our theater kids. Weather was gorgeous. Guides were great. Had a few CHS Theater Alumni join us. And Markham got hurt. This may just turn into a yearly event. Thank you Ocoee Inn Rafting for being one our our sponsors!

Announcing the 2024 Fall Play - The Canterville Ghost! Based on the short story by Oscar Wilde and adapted by Tim Kelly. Auditions will be held August 12 or 13 from 2:45-4:45in the theater. Stop by for an audition packet during the first week of school.

Cleveland High School theater is headed to the state Tennessee Theater Association One-Act Competition this weekend at Collierville High School. They will compete against 13 other schools with their one-act entitled "Reunion on Gallows Hill. Break a leg, cast and crew!!

Finished up the awards ceremony at the TTA One-Act festival. Cleveland takes an excellent rating along with the Spirit of of the Festival Award. Aniyah Purifory was named to the All-Star Cast along with winning a Merit Scholarship for her audition monologue. Way to go!

Cleveland High School Theater is preparing for its annual production of Class Playoffs. Class Playoffs are a festival of grade-level one-act plays. Performances of all shows will be held on November 21 & 22 at 7:00 and November 23 at 2:00. Admission is $7.00
