My wife’s business (support groups for young parents) is collecting donations of baby stuff for families displaced by the fire. Drop off stuff if you are in LA and you have anything!

If you know any families displaced by the LA fires, please forward this to them. My wife’s company collected a bunch of donated baby supplies and are giving them out to families who need them this Saturday!

There were many films that had great directing this year but what Denis did — in all aspects of the craft — was masterful

If you like your sci-fi to be apocalyptic, darkly comedic & satirical then MICKEY 17 is for you. Elements of Sonwpiercer & Okja by way of Moon. Bong Joon-ho is one of the great filmmakers working today & this - & I mean this in all ways - is probably his Bongiest film yet

A beautiful film - my favorite of Miyazaki’s - that deserves to be seen on a very big screen

PROJECT HAIL MARY looks like a perfect adaptation of the book. The trailer showed WAAAAY more of the story than I hoped (there are some surprises tucked in there). But it looks like a phenomenal film. #CinemaCon

WHOA! Dare I say, Amazon MGM just dropped the best trailer of CinemaCon with PROJECT HAIL MARY, which looks completely different than anything @PhilipLord and @ChrizMillr have done before. The trailer is set to Harry Styles' song "Sign of the Times," a personal fave of mine.

PROJECT HAIL MARY looks both incredibly endearing and awe-inspiring. Ryan Gosling is charming but his performance is much more grounded in humanity. Looks like a winner. #CinemaCon

Amazon MGM opens their #CinemaCon panel with an extended trailer for Project Hail Mary. Lord & Miller direct from a Drew Goddard script. Ryan Gosling as a mild mannered teacher recruited to go into space, by himself, to save the sun. Looks strong and got huge cheers from crowd.

The first trailer for ‘PROJECT HAIL MARY’ is legitimately unlike anything Lord and Miller have done before. It retains some of their signature humour but it looks very profound, dramatic, emotional, and awe inspiring. Could easily be an all time performance from Ryan Gosling

It’s true. SPIDER-NOIR is coming to Amazon Prime in 2026. Live-action, in black & white, set in the 1930s, and Nicolas Cage is a delight, as is the rest of the cast. The show is really special. Can’t wait for you all to see.
