Richard Jefferson has all of Reggie Miller’s negative traits but magnified, and also none of Reggie’s (few) positive traits. He’s particularly bad at this.

Also, and this is armchair psychologizing from a distance, but I think Breen actively dislikes Jefferson. I disliked JVG and Jackson as announcers, but Breen clearly enjoyed that hang. He seems to like DB. But Jefferson…I think he gets on his nerves.
