DEI must die. If we want to stop racism and sexism, we need to stop treating people differently on the basis of race and sex. It is based on the implicit and inherent racism and sexism of low expectations cast in terms like the need to “even the playing field” based on

I think there may be some history I seem to recall about a Democrat striking a Republican on the floor of a legislative body, over the Republican’s stance on protecting the vulnerable (I stand with the minor girls in the restroom not the adult man in a dress)…..

In 2022, Joe Fischer ran for Kentucky Supreme Court and Bob Winter ran for Kentucky Court of Appeals. The Judicial Conduct Commission went after them for identifying their affiliations with the Republican party, using endorsements from politicians, and other speech. We sued.

Congress passed RFRA, the religious freedom restoration act, that protects religious liberty. The statute provides for an “appropriate remedy,” that includes injunctive relief. Congress and the Supreme Court have passed the federal rules of civil procedure that expressly

Tariffs are taxes. And they are taxes on American consumers and businesses who use goods from abroad. And for some goods there isn’t a domestic alternative. And generally they are bad: bad for consumers, bad for business. And yet, if other countries are putting tariffs on

My office sits on the Ohio River, across from Cincinnati. The flooding is unreal. And it’s worse in areas without flood walls, which is where people have lost their lives. I donated to flood relief organizations, and hope folks recover. It’s going to be a while. Some photos

“No Kings Day” protests, brought and sponsored by the same people who gave us COVID lockdowns and vaccine mandates, violating fundamental rights like Freedom of Assembly, Free Exercise of Religion, and opposition to the Right to Bear Arms. Such clown show hypocrisy.

Andy Beshear was just sued by the DOJ for illegally creating an administrative rule earlier this year that gives illegal immigrants in state tuition to universities subsidized by Kentucky taxpayers. Is this worth an investigation and proceedings by the Kentucky House under

I said this before, and I will say it again: there is a way to get broad relief in equity/injunction actions (like we did in the Air Force vaccine mandate religious exemption case), and that is to certify a FRCP 23(b)(2) class action — which requires work, analysis, and effort.

I did a case a few years ago on behalf of a child and his parents against Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, where they declared the child brain dead in what appeared to me to be motivated by purposes of organ harvesting. We went into the Hamilton County Common Ohio Pleas Court to

Fantastic win. Proud to be part of the team that delivered this victory. Unfortunately it’s not over: the state school board will appeal.
