It's the Fourth Earl hitting the towpath Canal & River Trust the reflections today in Nottingham off the scale as the skies cleared and the clouds stayed at home. Stunning stuff playing tricks on the eyes.

It's off to Hucknall Town Football Club this afternoon under wintry grey skies, Yellows battling hard against a stubborn Wisbech side, Hucknall the better side overall in an entertaining game. Securing all 3 points from the spot and nearly adding a second late on,in a tight game. Go Yellows!

It's the Fourth Earl and it's "Stout Saturday" Neon Raptor Brewing Co. Smoother than a Clem Fandango voiceover with the cutting edge of Chippy Minton and the raunchiness of Robin Friday in his Cardiff City heyday with a two fingered salute. It's glorious Jeff!

It's the Fourth Earl and refreshment is being taken courtesy of Time & Tide Brewing Binky it's Brass Monkeys and I'm all of a dither, at sixes and sevens, it's smoother than Claudia's Winklemans fringe blowing in the turret, with more booze than Richard Burton on a bender in Powys!

It's been an absolute belter out there today Canal & River Trust on the Nottingham & Beeston canal where reflections took things to another level entirely. Stunning stuff and well worth an office breakout!

It's the Fourth Earl and the worlds gone super fruity Burnt Mill Brewery "Binky this is more tropical than an episode of Death in Paradise complete with some Lee Scratch Perry reggae action". It's a juice extravaganza Jeff, but not as we know it. Bravo!

It's back up the miners Gedling Miners Welfare FC for the first visit of 2025. A scrappy game with few clear cut chances, Blackstones down to 10 for the second half far more dangerous in the final third, sneaking it 1.0 GMW not able to make the extra man count in a frustrating afternoon.Arrgh

It's the Fourth Earl and beer is being taken Time & Tide Brewing "Binky I'm rolling in the meadow of life and my cravat has become compromised" softer than a shrew cuddling Simon Cowell in Waitrose, with more juice than Keith Lemon smothered in lardy flakes. It's amazing Derek!

It's the Fourth Earl taking refreshments from Time & Tide Brewing "Binky, I'm seeing hexagonal shapes in the underpass and giant slugs are calling out my name in a high pitched whiny voice" Jeff it's a glorious drop, fruitier than Barry Davies wearing plus fours in Basildon. Nice!

It's off to Gedling Miners Welfare FC for the visit of Stapleford. GMW laboured their way through 45 minutes behind to a dubious pen.Much better in the second half, Mykah levelling from the spot before Zac sent over an absolute beauty,Jeppo Van Persie heading home the winner in emphatic style

It's the Fourth Earl and lubrication is being taken Time & Tide Brewing "Binky I'm trapped inside a giant centipede called Jeffery" Juicier than Terry Nutkins spotting a Great Crested Grebe on Wildtrack egged on by Tony Soper in a velvet smoking jacket. It's tremendous Jeff!

It's the Fourth Earl taking refreshment from Time & Tide Brewing "Binky my feet have turned to fudge and my eyebrows are weeping treacle"Cor blimey Guvnor this is fruitier than Fred Dibnah rolling a woodbine up a chimney in a pair of David Wilkie own brand Speedos. It's a corker!

It's back to Saturday footie Gedling Miners Welfare FC Long Eaton taking the spoils 5.2 in the end, level at the break but razor sharp finishing in the second half.A good workout for GMW against higher league opposition,Jeppo leading from the front blasting in our second. Come on you Miners!

Who fancies some midweek footie action Gedling Miners Welfare FC entertaining Kimberley MW. All square at the break, GMW delivering a barnstorming second 45, with neat passing, great energy and quality finishing from the lads, ending up well deserved 4.1 winners. Brilliant team performance!

League football returns to the Plains and its goals galore Gedling Miners Welfare FC GMW dishing out 7 of the best in a brutal demolition job on Rainworth. The boys in yellow stroking the ball around like Brazil in a pulsating display of attacking football and breathtaking finishing.Go Miners!

It's the Fourth Earl back at the theatre of dreams Gedling Miners Welfare FC for the visit of Pinxton.GMW slipping to another defeat late on after a bright second half that promised so much more, not helped by an old school ref keen on the lighter touch and a robust lecture. It's all out me!
