Teachers and support staff in schools should be fully vaccinated before they’re expected to return to in-person instruction. Doing otherwise is wrong and unjust to teachers nationwide.

Nothing like a big ole’ virtual civics group hug to start the weekend! Thanks to team iCivics for arranging an opportunity for us to mix and mingle. So excited to be a part of the 2021 #iCivicsEdNet!

The Florida Historic Capitol and City of Tallahassee City Hall were illuminated tonight in remembrance of the more than 400,000 Americans who have died from COVID-19 as part of the Biden-Harris inauguration's national moment of unity. The Capitol was lit at the request of Commissioner Nikki Fried.

Elie Wiesel asked “How does one mourn six million people who died? How many candles does one light? How many prayers does one recite?” And maybe the answer is one as a reminder we survived... #YomHaShoah

Here's the story
Of a State Assembly
Run by our very own POs
They were distanced
Working all together
Yet they were not alone
Today when we start the conference
It is much more than a hunch
This group has somehow formed a family
That's the way we all became the YIG bunch

Florida is on an anti-LGBTQ+ roll today. The “Don’t Say Gay or Trans” bill is reprehensible and a blatant attempt to erase LGBTQ+ people from society. The Florida Senate must vote against this legislation for what it is — an attack on our community. hrc.org/press-releases…

Our preschool read a Purim book with two dads today and a parent has already used this bill to justify absolutely harassing our lesbian preschool director so please can we stop pretending this legislation doesn’t spread hate.
