We gathered today to celebrate the imminent departure of former grad student Sam Eaton, now Dr. Sam Eaton (second from right) ā Sam will soon be moving to Penn State Chemistry for a postdoc with Joey Cotruvo!
Bird update: tap, tap, tap...former student and radiologist/neuroimaging scientist Michael T Duong MD PhD identified it as a Northern Cardinal. Postdoc Juana G. Stollmaier suggested bird stickers on the window (on order now). I tested some non-bird stickers but they seem to be attracting the bird!
Hopefully, the final bird update: it is 6:30 am and the silence is golden! The cardinal is not tapping on the windows this morning, for the first time in many weeks. Postdoc Juana G. Stollmaier suggested using bird stickers to ward off our uninvited guest. Brilliant idea, Juana!
