This worryingly feels like classic new owner syndrome. Automatic promotion or nothing is a very high bar. It's very hard to imagine any manager will have the connection with the fans that Wilder did. Feels like the end of an era.

Sheffield United finished on 90 points last season. NINETY. No manager in the world should be sacked for a points haul of that magnitude. They’ve now lost half of the total games they lost last season. Another solid club under gross mismanagement.

Every SUFC fan can confidently say that if they were managing the team right now, we wouldn’t be in a worse position. If the ownership can’t see that as a problem demanding urgent action, then it’s fair to assume they are the problem. #twitterblades #sufc
