A2: In High School, building-level consistency is really important. Regardless, teachers should have some type of system built to signal time to put electronics away. We have also found that our students are not using the sleeves to protect the devices. #FifeCMDigitalAge

A3: Definitely using Google Classroom. I like that we can have a class discussion. It has held students accountable to their peers while expanding their learning. Turning in papers and adding comments is great too! #FifeCMDigitalAge

A4: I use Google Slides to organize class. The slides have their objectives, vocabulary, “activator,” and are color-coded so they know which activities they are going to do independently, collaborately, as homework, etc. It’s great for interactive notebooks. #FifeCMDigitalAge

I’ll never forget when the mosquito ring was popular. I couldn’t hear the phone ring but a student from the opposite side of the classroom stood up and pleaded with the person to turn off their phone. Kids get annoyed just as much as we do. They need parameters. #FifeCMDigitalAge
