My takeaway from the Paul Reubens documentary was that law enforcement and the media tried (repeatedly) to ruin a gay man who had a successful kids show, but fans were like nah fuck that we love him
All caught up on Outrageous. A lot of fun, full of Mitfordesque details (girls, don't go to school unless you want big calves!). Cast is great, even if the accents tilt a little too modern RP. I think I'll re-read some Decca. Or one of Nancy's great biographies.
If I ever run into Sofia Coppola I'm going to tell her that Marie Antoinette is a masterpiece and that casting Marianne Faithfull as Maria Teresa of Austria is an all-time brilliant casting choice.
I really don’t think people (in *most* situations) should lose their *jobs* for being caught having an affair as consenting adults. The penalty of having your family fall apart or living with the guilt of hurting someone you love is more than enough. And I really don’t think
