Last week were delighted to have been bestowed the honour of having two of our Under 14’s girls team invited to the Mansion House to meet the Lord Mayor of Dublin Emma Blain, as well as current Irish international players Aoife Wafer and Niamh O’Dowd.

An empowering day for the girls as they expressed their opinions of how they can remain playing sport, what the barriers are to playing and enjoying sport and how the club can support them in continuing to play. A huge thank you to the Lord Mayor for this opportunity.

Week 3 of the #CanterburyGIAT programme saw the girls continuing their evasion, sprinting and passi skills. If you have a budding young player (girls 8-14 years old) who would like to give rugby a try it’s not to late to sign up.
