Emily Koski is again the swing vote and key enabler of the council's worst impulses. It's a misguided political calculation that won't result in her being elected mayor but will result in a lot of tangible damage to our city.

One reason a strong separation order is important is it allows people to work with the MPD without fear of deportation. Sen. Fateh’s misinformation doesn’t just hurt Frey, it hurts the very people a separation order is intended to protect.

Convention Update: Only 578 of ~800 Minneapolis DFL delegates had their votes counted-and the electronic vote file STILL hasn't been shared as ordered weeks ago by the State DFL. We need answers.

This is a completely ridiculous situation. Dropping candidates erroneously is not just a “whoopsie”. By releasing this statement, the Minneapolis DFL is *publicly admitting* the convention was fatally flawed. If the first ballot isn’t legitimate the entire process falls apart.
