After a day of rain, the clouds parted late evening and the colours were superb.

I nipped out for an evening photoshoot last night but struggled to find a composition. Then, just as the sun was dropping, I saw this fern looking as if it had its arms open wide to catch the last of the warmth.

I was up at 3.40am and drove to Wiltshire to a bluebell wood there. It was a stunning morning and the bluebells were at their peak. Afterwards I walked the North Wessex Downs for a couple of hours in the sunshine

Early bluebells, early morning.

Had an early wander to a local wood this morning with wildlife lens in one hand and landscape lens in the other. After an hour of waiting for deer I went off looking for bluebells. Luckily I kept the wildlife lens on hand as this roe briefly wandered into my vision.

On a whim, I drove to 3 hours to Norfolk on Saturday (as you do). I decided to go straight to Turf Fen mill and was greeted by a cracking sunset. Also heard my first ever Bittern, calling across the fens as the light faded, which made my trip.

We were on the far end of Oxwich beach yesterday, and I found an old wooden chair, presumably washed up. Cue artistic, if slightly odd, photo.

I met this pair of trees on Cleeve Common about 8 years ago and have been meaning to go back and photograph them again ever since.

This first image, of one of Barcelona's back streets behind the cathedral, nearly got deleted. Instead, I created a dusk effect. I darkened the whole image, 'turned on' the wall lamps, and added a glow of light from them on the walls and street. Lastly, I added a dusk sky.
