Banding exercises is more then powering through a sticking point or extending the Accel distance in comparison to the decel distance during the concentric portion of a lift. Bands accelerate the eccentric portion because elastic energy pulls faster then gravity alone

Chris Larrauri (@chris_larrauri) 's Twitter Profile Photo

This creates a rebound effect In return it speeds up the concentric portion more, allowing faster acceleration You can use chains for sticking points or prolonging the Accel distance Bands have more benefits Narrative review link.springer.com/article/10.100…

Chest supported rows provide an external cue that helps get good scapular retraction and protraction as well as thoracic extension A great combination for better back development Get strong 💪 Then train that strength in various ways so it translates to your sport #Become5D

If we consistently chase one part of the kinect chain we miss out on gains in other areas If sufficient energy is transferring from the lower half, thoracic extension is great, plenty of scapular posterior tilt is occurring The next part of the kinetic chain is ER

Which one do you think he was faster on? The shin angle, hip extension, etc. is apart of the story, not the full thing As the different pieces come together you start to form a complete picture

Continuous and short burst, yielding and overcoming ISO’s have a time and place I use them in warm ups to prepare for other activities Doing either kind of ISO’s before plyo’s make jumps go up and sprint speeds go down You just need to know when to use each and what position

Watch til the end If you notice the weight wasn’t too much His nervous system was misfiring That’s why the last rep was smooth but the previous two not so much Repetition without repetition as they find a groove #Become5D
