Great way to end another Wembley season. Was given the opportunity the mark the hallowed turf for the Lionesses match. Followed by the Grounds staff match last night! The long days and hard work throughout the year is always made easier when you're surrounded by a great team.

Started work on the irrigation install at Bedford this week. JK Irrigation doing the install, water points around the field, and pop-ups for the 3 main squares. Really pleased get this project going. John and his team always do a fantastic job.

Beaten and bruised after lots of use very sparce in some areas, but nice to have the weather for Chris Horsler to get a stripe in with our Dennis Mowers Es860 for the U14 quarter final today.

1st team pitch holding up OK after lots of usage for Rugby pre christmas. Very sparce in places but I'd have taken it from where we were in the autumn. Chris Horsler and the team have done a great job, and we are heading in the right direction.

Starting the season with a game against the MCC today. Touch on the green side after being under the covers for a few days but confident it will play well. Top work by Chris Horsler as always.

Me, Chris Horsler and the grounds team at Bedford have put a real shift in this week to get us to here. 7 fixtures today. Pictures of the 1st 2nd and Pemberley squares below. When our Clegg hammer arrives we can gather some more data. Moisture content is good though. 💧🌱
