Thanks to the Academy for the recognition, friends and colleagues for the kudos, and of course the legendary Maureen Galbraith Economic History Society for getting me to prepare the papers in time!

Not sure about the socks and sliders on the podium but great experience racing indoors for the first time in a couple of years. Thanks Cycling Ireland + Dan and Emily for great support on the day!

Reliably informed that camera moto 1 crashed in front of Lucy when she was off the front, so the break and Kemmelberg chain incident join cycling's unseen myths and legends. Hope the motards are OK, and so good to see Tofauti Everyone Active Majaco teammates finish 1-2 in a finely balanced race!

Dunno about this mid-race posing but really great that Cycling Ireland is providing juniors an opportunity for top quality track racing this week.
