Two tree trimming operations will have sections of State Route 41, in the Oakhurst area, under one-way traffic control on both Monday and Tuesday of next week (May 12-13, 2025). Please plan accordingly as short delays are expected.

Road Closure: SR-140 is currently closed in both directions at Ferguson Slide Bridge due to a rock slide. Caltrans is currently on scene working to clear the roadway, it is unknown at this time how long the roadway will be closed. Please use SR 41 as an alternate route.

🚨 Traffic Alert – SR-41 🚨 Around 6:20 a.m., a solo Ford Mustang crashed and rolled over on SR-41 north of Yosemite Springs Pkwy. The driver was taken to CRMC in critical condition. Caltrans has one-way traffic control in place while CHP clears the scene.

Update: SR 41 was temporarily closed in Sugar Pine due to vehicles stuck in the roadway. All vehicles have been removed and the roadway is open.

Chain control in effect on SR-41 at Cedar Valley Drive. Ensure you have chains, as well as knowing how to install and remove them. Please ensure your headlights are turned on during inclement weather, daytime running lights do not activate taillights.

Yosemite National Park Service has advised the south entrance from SR-41 has been closed until further notice.

The Oakhurst Area had heavy snowfall throughout the night which has continued into the morning. Chains are required for all vehicles, avoid travel if possible.
