SIG Alert 🚨 7/22/25 - 1:15 pm CHP is investigating a traffic crash on I-10 east of the Cactus City Rest Area. The westbound lanes are closed at this time. Westbound traffic is being diverted to Box Canyon Road.

7/22/25 - 10:03 pm: Westbound lanes are still closed at this time due to extensive bridge damage. We are working on opening the right shoulder for traffic to continue traveling westbound. Please remember to slow down and drive safe as you pass through the area.

Update 7/23/25 - A traffic pattern has been set in place to allow westbound traffic flow. Traffic is able to drive through the area on the shoulder and partially in the #2 (slow lane). A closure of the number 1 lane is still in place.

Traffic Alert🚨 7/24/25 -10:23 am CHP is investigating a major injury crash on I-10 eastbound, west of the Cactus City Rest Area. The number #3 lane is closed at this time. Please proceed through the area with caution.

Update: 10:43 am - the #2 and #3 lane are closed. The #1 lane remains open.

Update: 11:46 am Officers are still on scene investigating the crash. Please watch your speed as you drive through the area.

ROSA FIRE UPDATE 8/5/25: The Rosa Fire remains at 1,300 acres and 5% contained with evacuation orders and warnings in place in the Ribbonwood and Pinyon Pines area. Please avoid the area and visit fire.ca.gov/incidents/2025… for further information on evacuation zones.

Traffic Alert 🚨 Vehicle fire on I-10 eastbound on the Bob Hope Drive off-ramp. The #1 lane remains open, all other lanes closed. Expect delays in the area.
