🚫Defending tip🚫: Coaching players on correcting the right distance when in a 1v1 is one of the hardest attributes to teach. Too often kids dive in or are too far away. Here is a little drill I like to use to help them with perfecting the right distance & jockeying ➡️

A misunderstanding of “Over Under” instructions led to a fun new warm up today in #PhysEd! In my past, I thought I knew better and would have just “fixed” the situation. 2day, I’m glad to say I’m more open to see potential in their creative thinking!

Touchdown with 5th grade. If a successful catch is made, thrower moves the hoop to the new spot and becomes the catcher. When the team makes it to the other end line and scores a touchdown, they switch to a different ball. Awesome! #physed
