Yesterday we held our quarterly Thrive Program! We were grateful to have J. Lynn Jones there to walk us through Crucial Accountability, the second part to our Crucial Conversations teaming. It was an awesome day of learning and team building!

Last Monday we held our first Montessori Conference for all of our staff at our Montessori schools. It was a great day of learning, collaboration and fun! Thank you to all the wonderful presenters who brought so much knowledge and expertise to our sessions.

Our office managers from our communities across Michigan gathered for a day of learning and connection. The team shared their expertise during informative breakout sessions. We also had the opportunity to tour the Michigan State Capitol. Thank you to davenportu for hosting!

Last Thursday Macomb Montessori Academy hosted nationally renowned children’s author Dwayne Reed! Dwayne Reed MMA was the first school to hear a reading of Mr. Reed’s new book All Good in the Hood! His message connects with students through relatable, heartfelt stories.

Congratulations to D'Angelo Farmer, elementary principal at Bradford Academy, for receiving the Transformative School Leader of the Year award at the Black Male Educators Alliance Gala!! Such a well deserved honor for a great school leader!
