This evening marks the beginning of #RoshHashanah, the #JewishNewYear. Pomegranates are traditionally eaten at Rosh Hashanah as symbols of fruitfulness. This little pomegranate-shaped vase, excavated in Jerusalem, is just 8cm tall and was made around 750–587 BCE.⁠ ⁠ 🍊 Fine
