Has been a busy morning on the chilli farm. The Simpson Seeds show tunnel was planted by Matt and the new leaky hose and ground cover laid in the final tunnel ahead of planting out the last of the plants this week!

Early start today planting out another tunnel before it got too warm! Nearly done!

These hot days mean early morning watering! The jalapeño tunnel is definitely bursting into life!

This is a new chilli variety. Very pretty and hot. Would look lovely on a windowsill in the house or conservatory. We think we will call it Dusk or Dusky. Seed should be available this autumn.

We have baby chillies! These are Early Jalapeño, all varieties germinated a few weeks ago have made an appearance! This year we moved the propagators inside due to the extreme cold last week! We will move them up to the tunnels this week for them to start enjoying the daylight!
