Lately, I’ve been listening to interviews of survivors from the RMS Titanic. Not wealthy people or highly-educated intellectuals, just normal passengers and crew members. After listening to hours of these interviews, it’s impossible not to tell that we have lost so much over

Ignoring bitcoin is a generational error. I don't know how many times I can explain this. You still have time but you must swallow your pride.

Anyone else ever notice that Google's and Amazon's large data centers are powered by natural gas or nuclear power, not solar or wind? Since corporations are always looking to save a penny, this is the litmus test of which technologies are actually affordable and sustainable for

My friend built a house… heated by a bitcoin miner. 6 kW hydro Antminer heats the whole 140 m² (1500 ft²) home plus hot water for the bathroom. He called this a “Bitcoin Shower Project” but I think it’s a Hashpunk Citadel 🔥

“Let’s ban new oil and gas licences in the North Sea but spaff away £40billion buying North Sea oil and gas from Norway. Let’s buy coking coal shipments worth £7.2million from Japan but ban UK coal mining. Let’s plaster thousands of acres of farmland with solar panels but spend

Every summer, people across Europe complain about the heat. Yet, anti-AC sentiment persists because 'climate change' or something. Bizarre, self-defeating behaviour.

Does anyone else spend the entire modern movie turning the volume up and down because there is zero sound consistency in movies anymore?

It's taken too long, but public support for green grift is finally coming to an end. People are finally working out that if renewables are so cheap then bills should be falling, not rising as we get more wind and solar.

Wind energy is and remains an absolute farce. Solar for sure has a future as a basic material science everywhere, but this retrograde “sustainable” diversion will be quickly forgotten by history. Just rotting concrete plinths in oceans and on ridge-lines.

Amazing In all the times the Labour Party has been in power since 1924, they have never once removed a tax. Nor have they ever reduced a tax rate. Incredible. Except ...

Conversely there is too much pressure to shrink the years of childhood. It’s the bit in the middle that’s the problem, the protracted adolescence into the late twenties (or beyond).

One of Sir Keir's favourite lines is that Liz Truss "crashed the economy" -- a reference to the interest rate on 30-year gilts peaking at 5% after Truss's mini-budget. Today, the interest rate on 30-year gilts climbed to 5.453%.

The suggestion in the Guardian that Starmer and Morgan McSweeney are demanding to know when power prices will come down shows just how delusional they are. They haven't understood that the whole renewables drive is built on lies (THREAD)
