Education Government of Newfoundland & Labrador One of the most exciting points made in is the statement on pg. 114 calling on provinces/territories to introduce robust pension regimes, citing Nova Scotia & PEI as examples. @EDU_GOVNL must follow these examples & act now on benefits & pensions for ECEs. Child Care Now | NL Chapter 'Educators must be paid what they are worth, and have paid sick days, paid vacations, benefits and pensions (most do not).' The problem is that people do not see our worth. Many do not view us as educators. We MUST change the mindset. Its not child care - its early education.
