I am proud to announce five soldiers have been recognised with the 2025 Jonathan Church Good Soldiering Awards. They have displayed exceptional character and service to our Army & our nation. These soldiers represent the future of #AusArmy our future is bright!

Congratulations to the Women’s #AusArmy AFL team on claiming the tournament championship, defeating @RoyalAustralianNavy to secure the win! This is their 12th consecutive win to date!

We have received the first of our world-leading M142 High Mobility Artillery Rocket System (HIMARS) launchers, enhancing our ability to deter through denial.

We are accelerating our long-range fires & littoral manoeuvre capabilities. 10 Brigade is now equipped with cutting-edge capabilities including NASAMS & HIMARS. I am incredibly proud of how quickly our soldiers are turning these new weapon systems into fighting capabilities.

We remember the service & remarkable life of WWII veteran SIG Arthur Leggett. Arthur was captured during the Battle of Crete in 1941 & spent the next 4 years as a POW. He became a champion for veterans in WA & across Australia. He will be deeply missed. Vale, Arthur.
