Little behind on this but what a weird move in late May. No word of a coaching vacancy and Muckalt jumps ship from Lindenwood. Great hire for MTU in my opinion but seems like odd scenario. Feel for Lindenwood trying to find a coach at this juncture.

This is a terrific hire if finalized. He’s all over the rinks and has a great knowledge of the game and the prospects out there. Has done a terrific job building the pipeline that has gone through Jr Mounties.

This could also be the first shift of truly seeing college hockey as the premier development ground for the NHL. Top NHL prospects leaving very strong CHL teams with eligibility remaining to test themselves in the NCAA. College hockey is going to be a blast to watch.

Great interview here with Wisconsin Hockey defenseman Logan Hensler. Had a pretty solid year as a draft eligible freshman in a tough conference. Potential is high with him and will be interesting to see where he goes in the draft. Loved the piece where he wants to be a #NHLBruins
