This Thursday sees our next film in the 2023/2024 season. All the familiar tropes of a conspiracy thriller yet presented in an intriguingly unfamiliar cultural context. Join us for Cairo Conspiracy in the Garret Storyhouse on the 26th October at 7.30

Next up on Thurs 2nd November is Martin Eden. Based on Jack London's novel, a film about the terrible loneliness of success that has parallels with the loneliness of failure; it’s also about the secret and shameful feeling that failure is the one truthful state of human existence

Our 2023/2034 season continues on Thursday 23 November with The Beasts (As Bestas). Considered one of the best Spanish movies of recent years, it’s based on the true story of events that occurred in Galicia in 2010.

Next up on the 25th January is Charlotte. An animated drama that tells the true story of Charlotte Salomon, a young German-Jewish painter who comes of age in Berlin on the eve of the Second World War. Fiercely imaginative and deeply gifted, she dreams of becoming an artist.
