If it's true that Powell's Jackson Hole speech was a sea change and abandoned inflation, then the CME FedWatch odds should not be down to 75% for a Sept. FOMC rate cut (they were over 90% in recent weeks). Likely big overreaction on Friday by stocks and vol.

I think we will find when all is said and done that they will try to pass through the costs, but they won't be able to. Prices recieved already reversing and not outside of normal range - prices paid, not so much. Margin squeeze.
