This is how you handle a tear gas canister. Pour water around the canister. That’s to help seal the base of the traffic cone used to contain it. Then you douse it from the top and cover it. It’s extremely effective.

Hijacking an aid boat is obviously a war crime. So is besieging 2.2 million civilians and manufacturing famine. So is firing 300 bullets into a child. So is bombing refugee camps. Every second of the past 600+ days, Israel has committed unimaginable crimes, every second.

In a 1966 speech, MLK famously stated, "A riot is the language of the unheard." He recognized that riots could be a manifestation of deep-seated grievances that had not been addressed through peaceful channels.

Reminder that most of the world has banned the use of tear gas even in times of war and U.S. police use every day like their little fascist Febreze

Here are a few patterns that the police follow to set up kettles. Do not trust that protest "leaders" are savvy to these facts. Watch out for warning signs and be willing to adapt, to retreat and regroup.

Please wear PPE to the LA protests. You need a helmet, you need a mask/respirator, you need goggles, you need gloves, but if you can't afford to buy them that's okay. You can pick up PPE and receive medical attention at the Skid Row Museum. This is mutual aid, WE KEEP US SAFE
