Happy New Year 2024. Our latest research on a stable singlet carbene with a reversed electronic configuration is now published in Science Magazine. The potential is limitless with this innovative molecule! Congrats Chaopeng Hu science.org/doi/10.1126/sc

An isolable phosphinidene oxide, you ask? That’s right!!! Check out Chenyang’s (Chenyang Hu) outstanding work out today in Nature Chemistry! Using steric bulk to help stabilise a highly reactive P(III)=O bond. nature.com/articles/s4155

A two-coordinate phosphorus(iii) oxide has been reported by the Goicoechea Group in Nature Chemistry. Similar reactive species are believed to be key intermediates in the degradation of phosphorus compounds. 🔗CSD Entry KOYSAW: ccdc-info.com/4bWnVbx #FeaturedStructureFriday

I am thrilled to share our latest publication with the Goicoechea Group in J. Am. Chem. Soc.! We report the synthesis of species featuring unsupported Ga=P and In=P double bonds and two-coordinate triel element centers. Check it out! Glad to share my lastest work with Goicoechea Group in J. Am. Chem. Soc. .We reported a metathesis reaction between P(III)=O and P(V)=C, generating P(III)=C and P(V)=O, replacing carbonyl compounds in Wittig-raction with a phosphinidene oxide! pubs.acs.org/doi/10.1021/ja
